Responsibilities

The Chairperson of National Authority, Chemical Weapons Convention, Cabinet Secretariat, (at the level of Additional Secretary) is responsible for monitoring compliance with the provisions of the Conventions. National Authority acts as the national focal point for effective liaison with the Organization for Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) and other State Parties.
